Leaders from the New Jersey corporate, governmental and labor arenas celebrated the 14th anniversary of New Jersey Community Development (NJCDC) on Tuesday, October 28th at the Valley Regency in Clifton, New Jersey. The annual event is a celebration of the broad range of programs and services in the areas of community development, housing, education, and youth development that provide opportunities to transform lives in the city of Paterson.

Each year, the Paterson Youth Council honors Patersonians who have made a positive impact in the lives of Paterson’s youth, bestowing Youth Recognition Awards upon five youth winners and one adult winner. The nomination process has begun, and all nominations are due no later than Friday, January 9. The Youth Recognition Awards Ceremony will be held on Dr. Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 19, at 10 am at the Brownstone.

On October 29, the NJCDC pro bono team was honored at the annual Lowenstein Sandler “Pro Bono Celebration,” which was attended by over 100 Lowenstein attorneys and pro bono partners at the firm’s headquarters in Roseland, New Jersey.
